About Me – Amber Rothberg

Amber is a young actress from Boston. She discovered her passion for acting at 12 when she was cast as Young Meg in Greta Gerwig’s Little Women.

With her acting career in mind, Amber accelerated her education, and graduated summa cum laude, with her BFA in Acting at Savannah College of Art and Design just after her 20th birthday. She has built a wide range of experience across commercials, voiceover, television, film and print work.

Most recently, Amber wrapped a co-lead role opposite Mischa Barton (The O.C.) in a Lifetime movie; Her Amish Escape. She is currently preparing for a lead role in the feature film; The Red Head.

Amber is especially drawn to grounded, character-driven stories and is excited by work that feels honest, intimate, and human.

With several new projects in the works, she’s stepping into this next chapter of her career with curiosity, drive, and a genuine love for the craft.

Amber's work ethic, not just on set but during pre-production and post-production, was nothing less than stellar. She worked tirelessly to nail each and every emotion, word, and action that was put into the script. Her ability to memorize pages of dialogue and keep her energy up, take after take, was exceptional. I have worked with actors of all ages, but Amber is beyond her years when it comes to her craft. I have no doubt that her career as an actress will be highly successful, especially with her keen sense of understanding each character she melds with. Amber has the ability to take any direction that is given and maintain such natural and organic moments. Her ability to immerse herself into her character work and remain truthful in her performances has allowed her to leave lasting impressions on Casting Directors and other creatives who have watched her audition.
